看到上面有Savatage不禁想到跟他也有關連的TSO

雖然這首很不metal 不過真的很趣味 也蠻幽默的

曲勢起伏也都呼應到歌詞內容 真的是一首歌說一個故事

英文不是很厲害 大概的翻翻意思而已 主要是想分享這首歌啦!

他救了那些博士 *Kings我不大懂一般是怎麼翻的 有請強者指教...

Now granddad made his living
Playing jazz you see
But jazz wasn't big around one A. D
So he got himself a job in the palace band
Where he heard about three kings
In the desert sand
我的老祖宗他啊
靠著玩爵士樂過活
不過在西元1年那時候，爵士樂還不怎麼流行啊
所以他在皇宮的樂團裡找到工作
他就是在那聽到三博士在曠野裡頭的事

Let me tell you children that at any time
Three kings in the desert that's a real rare find
Yes, it is
我告訴你啊孩子
不管在什麼時代，三博士在曠野裡頭出現
都是很罕見的啊

But Herod heard of it too
And when he heard his curiosity grew
So he asked those kings to drop by
And my great great great great great great

He wondered why
但是希律王也聽聞了這件事
一聽之下，他的好奇心被激起了
於是希律王便命三位博士順道來拜訪
而我的曾曾曾曾曾曾曾祖父
他納悶為什麼

So the Magi told old Herod
That they had come here
To find a newborn king of kings
Who'd heal our sins
Then old Herod told his guards
To follow those Magi
And that the only king around here
Was gonna' be him
三賢者告訴老希律
他們到這裡來是為了找到新降生的萬王之王
能夠救眾人之罪
於是老希律命令他的侍衛
去跟蹤這些賢者
確定在這國裡唯一的國王
非他莫屬

Then he told his soldiers as I recall
When they found that child, to kill them all
But granddad overheard what Herod said
And he had to act fast or else they'd all be dead
Yes, they would
我記得他還告訴他的士兵
等到找到那嬰兒之後，便把這些博士全殺掉滅口
但我的老祖宗聽到了希律王的話
他必須立刻動身否則三博士全會被殺死
對，被殺死

So granddad got to those kings
Filled them in on the plan, told them everything
When they heard what he had in store
They grabbed the gold
The frankincense
The myrrh, the jewels
The desert tents
And when they found
His plan was sound
They followed granddad out the back door
Yes, they did
They followed him down
於是老祖宗找到三博士
告訴了他們一切的經過
當他們知道了希律王的陰謀
立刻抓了黃金 乳香 沒藥 珠寶 還有帳篷要走人
等到確定我老祖宗的計畫夠周詳之後
便跟著我的老祖宗從後門溜走了
對，溜走了
他們跟著他跑掉了

噢那想必是個驚險刺激的夜晚
但是當上帝與你同在時
你感覺得到在最後你一定會獲勝

等到他們發現的時候
他們已經來到了頭頂上有顆大星閃耀的孩子身邊了

當老祖宗跟三賢者到達丘上的馬廄
我們的故事也差不多快到尾聲
我剛剛不是說在曠野裡有三位賢者是非常罕見?
那天使們在曠野裡唱歌更是罕見的景象了
