背景介紹

The Four Horsemen 收錄在 Metallica 第一章專輯 Kill 'em All 中

主要是在講天譴四騎士的事

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse在聖經啟示錄的第六章中有記載。

四位騎士的名字各為Pestilence(瘟疫)、War(戰爭)、Famine(飢荒)、以及Death(死亡)。

聖經中所敘述的騎士特徵如下：

白馬騎士帶來虛偽的和平，騎士配戴著弓和王冠，這騎士代表反基督、虛為先知、異教徒
紅馬騎士帶來濺血的戰場，騎士配戴著長劍，這個騎士代表戰爭、毀滅
黑馬騎士帶來不毛的荒地，騎士配戴著天平，這個騎士代表飢荒、不公平的交易
灰馬騎士帶來死亡與腐敗，騎士配戴著鐮刀，這個騎士代表死亡
