Lapland青年Joukahainen聽聞了Vainamoinen的名聲，心生不服，於是前去
向他挑戰，Joukahainen落敗後惱羞成怒出言辱罵，並拔劍相向，Vainamoinen也
被激怒了，於是施咒法將Joukahainen立身之地化為泥沼。Joukahainen陷入泥沼
無法脫身，險些滅頂，連忙認輸求饒。他提出許多珍貴物品做為代價，但
Vainamoinen不為所動，直到最後，Joukahainen說要將妹妹Aino嫁給他作妻子，
Vainamoinen才欣然接受，解除咒法，放他生路。
