For one, it has too many fallback points where it seems that at numerous
areas there was a lack of direction so they just wrote another melo-death
part to fill space until they came up with something else.
作為一張專輯，它有太多地方臨陣退縮，有很多地方都像他們寫到那裡之後就不知道該怎
麼辦，所以只好寫些melo-death的部分充數，直到他們想到其他橋段為止。


個人理解是這樣，不敢說是正確...

大概可以翻成：
作為一張專輯，它裡面預留的退路（fallback point，還原點）也太多了些，
有很多地方都像他們寫到那裡之後就不知道該怎麼辦，
所以只好寫些melo-death的部分充數，直到他們想到其他橋段為止。

推 Ksp:這算是口語化的英文嗎? 還蠻難理解的...
應該不算口語，算是使用子句...where之後都是在補充說明fallback points
