洛杉磯speed/thrash樂團，起初由主唱John Cyriis(ex. Abattoir)及鼓手Chuck Profus組
成，直到吉他手Juan Garcia & Kurt Kilfelt、貝斯手George Robbs的加入後，在1985年
發行了他們第一張專輯，John Cyriis高昂的嗓音在當時許多鞭團中，算是蠻突出的主唱，
另外以外太空、外星生物為封面也是樂團的特色之一，"Agent Steel"、"Evil Eye / Evil
Minds"、"Bleez for the Godz"這幾首歌超猛，Kurt Kilfelt在首張專輯發行之後離團另
組Holy Terror，由Bernie Versailles接手他的位置，樂團在1986年發行一張EP－ "Mad
Locust Rising"，其中包括了一首Judas Priest的翻唱"The Ripper"，第二張專輯發行後
吉他手和貝斯手三人被樂團開除，Agent Steel找了其他樂手加入，為接下來的表演準備，
其中包括了James Murphy(ex. Death、Obituary、Testament, etc.)，但是其樂風似乎並
不受樂迷的支持，Agent Steel結束巡迴演出後，在1988年宣布解散。
前吉他手Juan Garcia離開Agent Steel後，曾另組Evildead及Terror，而另一位吉他手
Bernie Versailles曾加入過Fates Warning，Agent Steel在90年代後期復出，鼓手依然是
Chuck Profus，貝斯手找來了Evildead的Karlos Medina，主唱則是Bruce Hall，1999年發
行專輯"Omega Conspiracy"，曲風雖和早期有些差異，但是仍有一定的水準，新主唱的表
現也相當不賴，同時樂團也拍攝了他們唯一一部MV－"It's Not What You Think"，2001年
樂團曾出現在一張向Scorpions的致敬專輯中，之後由於原主唱John Cyriis向樂團提出告
訴，Agent Steel曾一度將團名換為"Order of the Illuminati"，不過後來大概是敗訴了
吧，樂團在2003年再次以Agent Steel的名義發表新作，不過原鼓手受傷的關係，這張專輯
找來了Terror的鼓手Rigo Amezcua。至於2007年的"Alienigma"則是樂團目前最新作品。
