入選條件：
Performers：發行首張唱片至少25年以上，並且對搖滾的發展有卓絶的貢獻。由搖滾
歷史學家組成的提名委員會提名，再由1000名左右的搖滾專家進行投票，票選超過50%即
入選，每年的入選名單一般控制在5-7名。
Non-Performers：對搖滾的發展有重大影響的歌曲作者、製作人、DJ、錄音師、新聞
記者以及其他業內專業人士。
Early Influences：搖滾誕生以前的藝人，但他們的音樂影響了搖滾的進化，而且賦
予搖滾領先藝人創作靈感。
Side Men：2000年引入的新類別。表彰那些主流藝人的幕後人員。提名由一個主要有
製作人組成的委員會作出。
