Leading by three with 7.2 seconds left, Rockets coach Rick Adelman could have
chosen to send the Bobcats to the free-throw line, reducing the game to a few
free throws.

But Adelman preferred the Rockets’ chances defending the 3-point line to
securing the rebound of a missed free throw, and was proved right when Ron
Artest blocked Vladimir Radmanovic’s 3 for a tie. His decision also had a
lot to do with his distaste for the rule that allows players to charge in
from the 3-point arc when the free throw is released.

“There is no guarantee you’re going to get that rebound because you can’t
box out on the free throw,” Adelman said. “Everybody can get in there when
the ball is released, from the 3-point line to the paint and everything else.
And we’re not the greatest of rebounding teams at the free- throw line.”

這段大概是說最後領先三分可以送貓貓上罰球線，不過Adelman寧願直接防三分


Control needed


Ron Artest made the game-winning shot and defensive stop, but Rockets coach
Rick Adelman is working to get Artest to be more under control in the final
minutes.

“I think he can hit (late-game shots), but he’s got to take the easier shot
that’s there,” Adelman said. “Sometimes, he tries to make too much out of
the play, rather than take the easier shot that’s there. That’s what he’s
got to figure out and learn.”

Adelman said he spoke to Artest since Wednesday’s loss to the Lakers about
his late-game decision-making.

“I talked to Ron about it,” he said. “He can’t try to go between two and
three people. It’s not going to work. ”

這邊就是在講阿泰關鍵時刻腦充血的事，Adelman說在輸給湖人後他有跟阿泰談過，
阿泰不該試著去突破兩三個人。


Lowry dinged

Rockets guard Kyle Lowry came up limping after a hard Boris Diaw foul, but
remained in the game and while limping, drove to a layup on the next
possession. He said he would be ready to play against the Spurs tonight.

羅莉今天摔那下好像真的有點問題，不過他說對馬刺會上
(大概是因為降他今天上場時間才不多吧  我猜...)

Ten more days

James White, as expected, signed a second 10-day contract in the visitors’
 locker room about 90 minutes before Friday’s game.

一樣，我對阿泰有愛，不過還是可以討論囉:)
個人覺得要馬就穩穩的把球給姚，要馬就戰術設計好一點讓投球的人空檔大一點
畢竟我覺得阿泰沒辦法突破是事實....
不要每次最後就一樣的事一直發生....

但矮豆人選擇讓火箭防守對方的三分球, 這樣比搶罰球不進的籃板保險...
最後阿泰蓋了 Rad的三分球證明了這是個正確的選擇, 矮豆人對於罰球球出手之後
外面的球員就可以跑進來搶籃板的規定有些顧慮...

蘿莉被 Diaw犯規後好像有點跛腳 但是他留在了場上並且完成了一次上籃
他說他下一場對馬刺應該還是可以上場沒問題
