Rockets sign center Andersen to multi-year deal

The Rockets officially signed center David Andersen to a multi-year contract
on Wednesday, completing the deal in which they acquired his rights from the
Atlanta Hawks in exchange for cash and future considerations on July 14.

An Australian native, the 6-11, 245-pound Andersen was originally selected by
Atlanta in the second round (37th overall) of the 2002 NBA Draft.

He joins the Rockets after spending the 2008-09 season with Regal FC
Barcelona in Spain, where he averaged 11.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in helping
that team to the Spanish National Championship and a berth into the
Euroleague Final Four. Andersen’s list of international accomplishments also
includes three Euroleague titles with Virtus Bologna (2001) and CSKA Moscow
(2006 and 2008).

他在西班牙的Regal FC Barcelona 完成了08-09球季後就加入火箭,這期間他取得了11.1
