While the Rockets go forward with their plan to work Tracy McGrady back to full
strength while limiting his minutes, McGrady said he is also considering
whether he might be better off sitting out to concentrate on building leg
strength.

On Monday, McGrady had said, “Until further notice, I’m shutting it down.”
 He has played each of the three games since and expects to play Monday in
Miami to complete a three-game road trip.
上週一，踢妹曾表示：“除非有其他通知，否則我將會休戰。”但是他參加了後面
的三場比賽，並且應該會在下週二做客邁阿密的比賽中完成這次三場客場之旅。


“I told myself I was going to give myself this road trip to see how things
were going to go and when it ends, I was going to talk to everybody and make a
decision,” McGrady said.“I think I need it (time off). I felt like I had to
be out here for the start of the season because our schedule was so tough. I
didn’t want us to get in a hole. But looking forward, I think we have enough
talent on this team if I was to sit out and we get Shane (Battier) back, I
think we’ll be fine.
“我告訴自己，要讓自己參加這次客場之旅，在比賽後再視情況決定自己是否休戰
。我將要與每個人都進行交流，然後作出決定，”踢妹說。“我認為我現在需要休
息。我覺得我不得不休戰，因為開季這段時間我們的賽程非常艱苦。我不希望看到
我們陷入困境，但是長遠地考慮，我認為即使我休息，只要我們的八爺回來，我們
依然是一支有天賦的球隊。我覺得我們沒有問題。”


“My mentality is to try not to play the whole season the way I am now. If it
takes some sitting down, that’s what I’m going to have to do. ”
“我現在的想法是不希望自己整個賽季都以現在這個狀態打球。如果我選擇休戰，
那將是我不得不作出的決定。”


The Rockets medical staff, however, believes that McGrady can best complete his
comeback from his May 6 knee surgery, with Rockets coach Rick Adelman a
proponent of playing through the difficulties.
火箭的醫療團隊相信由於主教練艾逗人是一個戰勝困難論的支持者，踢妹可以從
5月6日的膝蓋手術中完全恢復。


“It’s physical, but also mental,” Adelman said. “He has to push through it.
I think he learned how much pain you’re going to have, how much discomfort you
’re going to have. You’re going to have to find a way to get through it.
“這是身體上的事情，但也是精神上的，”愛逗人表示。“他必須要努力克服困難
。我認為他學會了什麼傷痛是自己必須承受的，什麼苦惱是自己必須承受的。你必

“That’s what he’s struggling with right now. He can’t do some of the things
he used to do. We’re hoping over time that starts coming back gradually.”

Yao Ming’s shots that clinched the Rockets’ win were vital, but the timeouts
before them might’ve made those shots possible.

Rockets coach Rick Adelman has spent much of the season trying to get better
ball movement and to get his players to move more, especially down the stretch
of games. Those struggles have often made it tough for Yao Ming to get shots.
火箭主教練艾逗人一直在努力讓火箭在比賽中可以更好的轉移球和讓自己的球員更
多地移動，尤其是在充滿壓力的關鍵時刻。但是火箭在這方面的掙扎，常常讓姚明
的投籃變得困難。


On Saturday, a pair of timeouts let Adelman tweak the Rockets’ sets, forcing
Yao and the ball to move, with Yao getting deep touches to key the Rockets’
 offense down the stretch.
周日，兩次暫停讓愛逗人扭轉了火箭局面。姚明主攻以及球的移動，讓姚明在很深
的低位完成了關鍵時刻的火箭式進攻。


“You can’t come down to him on the strong side and just say we’re going to
throw it in. You have to go from one side to the other and not make it so
obvious,” Adelman said.
愛逗人解釋到：“你不能僅僅就是在強側讓姚明要位，然後把球扔給他，說——
‘好吧，我們要把這球打進’。我們必須通過強側到弱側的轉移球，讓攻姚明的意
圖不至於太過明顯。”

踢妹看來真的有考慮等八爺回來就休息一陣子養傷，可是從愛逗人的語氣上...，似乎
不這麼想耶，反而希望他能透過比賽來慢慢恢復，還是我理解的不對阿...
