Matched up with the Nuggets’ Chauncey Billups on Monday, Rockets guard Aaron
Brooks received another test against one of the NBA’s more physical point
guards.

The Rockets wanted Brooks to counter Billups’ size with his speed, an answer
Rockets coach Rick Adelman said has been key since Brooks took over as the
starter.

“I think it’s very important,” Adelman said. “He has to make him guard
him, and he has to push the tempo a little bit. I think he has an advantage
in quickness and speed. He just has to use it. I think he is (making
progress), and as a result, our team is getting better.

“It’s hard to do during the season, to just change completely. He needs
people running with him. That’s really important.”

The Nuggets went into Monday’s game outscoring teams by 4.3 points on the
break, second best in the league. The Rockets had been outscored on the break
by an average of 3.5, second worst in the NBA.

But since Brooks became the starting point guard, the Rockets have gone from
averaging 8.5 fast-break points per game to 10.3 in the 11 games prior to
Monday’s.

重點翻一下...Adelman還是覺得小AB的速度是優勢，覺得他應該多多利用
然後Adelman覺得應該要有人跟小AB一起跑..(但是那個人不應該是姚明阿..@@")
總之這段就是在說Adelman對小AB的愛啦.....


Tape it is
Forward Carl Landry said he was sore after turning his right ankle Sunday
against the Grizzlies, but the pain was not as great as when he battled a
sprained right ankle that forced him to miss four games last month.

“It still hurts, but just tape it up and go,” Landry said.

Taping the ankle is a change for Landry, who prefers wearing a brace . But
with the latest tweak , he said he would tape the ankle for the remainder of
the season.

這段比較重要...蘭蘭的腳還沒好，好像對灰熊的時候又扭到的樣子...
他說還在痛，只是沒有第一次受傷那麼痛...
(我記得前幾天好像還看到說他不綑繃帶了)
不過現在可能剩下的賽季都要綑繃帶了....
不知道有沒有辦法再讓他休息個幾場....
