On Monday, Chase Budinger was not worried about a sprained left ankle
suffered in the fourth quarter against the Jazz. By Tuesday, however, it was
sore enough that he could not guess whether he will be available to play
tonight, potentially taking a key reserve out of the Rockets' rotation.

布丁狗在對阿爵時扭到左腳踝 一開始不擔心 但結果到了隔天還是滿酸痛的 這下他也
不確定他今晚能不能出賽了 或許會休息一次吧

Budinger still did not seem overly concerned but said he is “day-by-day.”

“A little stiff, a little sore,” Budinger said. “It shouldn't be something
that will linger. I think in a couple days I'll be better. We'll see how I
feel tomorrow.”

Budinger, who scored 10 of his 17 points in a four-minute Rockets run that
took over the game Monday, has played an average of 16 minutes per game,
making half his shots (40 percent of his 3s) and averaging 9.3 points. If he
cannot play, Rockets coach Rick Adelman is not sure how he will adjust his
rotation, but with the Lakers using a big frontcourt, he could use Carl
Landry at small forward.

fourth quarter, making shots and getting out and running the court. I don't
have a lot of options if he can't go. We've only got Kyle (Lowry) and
Jermaine (Taylor) on the bench. They're small guys. We could throw Carl at
the three-spot some. He hasn't done it much.”

Luis Scola, the Rockets' top returning scorer from last season, has been
inconsistent offensively. But that might have led to his success in the
second half Monday.

“Obviously, I'm not there yet,” Scola said. “I had a bad game offensively.
But in my mind, when I'm playing bad, it always goes to just keep playing as
hard as I can, running, going for all the rebounds, being focused, doing the
right play, keep sticking to the game plan. And hopefully, sooner or later,
the offense will come around.”

Scola, averaging 11.5 points on 46.3 percent shooting, had seven of his 15
rebounds in the third quarter and added 14 points.
