Andy Withdraws from Bangkok

Andy has been forced to withdraw from the Thailand Open in Bangkok.
Andy had been scheduled to face Yeu-Tzuoo Wang of Chinese Taipei
Wednesday evening, but unfortunately was forced to withdraw before
the match due to a left foot injury.
His place in the draw has been taken by fellow American, Phillip King.
AndyRoddick.com’s Guest Reporter for the week, Yui went to Andy’s
press conference and was able to update us that the injury occured
last night and Andy tried to do all he could in order to be able to play.
Andy woke up this morning and the injury felt fine, but unfortunately
it flared up again in practice later on and he was forced to stop.
Andy will return to the states to consult with the US Davis Cup team
doctor and have an MRI scan.
