最好直接問主辦單位比較能得到直接的訊息吧。
我本來暑假計畫要去密西根大學參加一個暑期進修的研習營，
因為SARS的關係打算取消，
所以就寫e-mail問主辦單位，
主辦單位說美國目前並沒有禁止來自SARS疫區的健康旅客的入境
(As far as we know, the United States has not denied entrance to
healthy visitors from SARS infected countries.)
密西根大學也沒有這方面的禁令，
只是規定要有個screening procedure，
來自疫區的學生必須通過健康檢查才能參與研習。
其實我要說的只是，
雖然美國政府似乎並未禁止疫區人民入境（有沒有檢疫措施我就不知道了）
但你要去的各級單位是否有更嚴格的規定，
還是親自向他們詢問才能得到快又正確的資訊。：）
