Vocalist Sarah Brightman has announced a North American tour in support of her upcoming album, "La Luna," due Aug. 29 via Angel Records. Beginning Sept. 15 in Ottawa, Ontario, the tour will run through Nov. 16 in Indianapolis. Brightman will follow the North American trek with dates in the Far East, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.
Produced by Frank Peterson, "La Luna" will feature a cover of the Procol Harum classic "Whiter Shade Of Pale." A supporting video will be directed by Paul Boyd (Sting, Shania Twain).
Brightman's last studio album, "Eden" (Nemo Studio/Angel) peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Classical Crossover chart in May 1999, and has sold over 2 million copies worldwide, according to the label.
