Rookie Cain twirls shutout for Giants
Bonds raps two singles; Sweeney, Winn drive in two each

OAKLAND -- Giants rookie Matt Cain, who skipped a turn to revamp his mental
game and mechanics, showed he's back to his electrifying self by vanquishing
the Oakland A's, 6-0, on Sunday at McAfee Coliseum, giving up only one hit in
his first career shutout.
San Francisco took the series, 2-1, as Cain (2-5) was backed by Randy Winn's
two-run single and Mark Sweeney's two-tally double in the fourth inning off
losing pitcher Joe Blanton (4-5).
The other San Francisco runs came on Ray Durham's groundout in the first and a
passed ball by Jason Kendall in the seventh. The lone Oakland hit was a Jay
Payton leadoff double in the third.
