I had fun during the Kids Day exhibition yesterday. It was great to meet
Cullen Jones, the American swimmer. It's also fun from time to time to share
the court with a professional male player, and I enjoyed rallying with James
Blake.

這段是說昨天參加 Kids Day. 然後遇見了游泳選手Cullen Jones.
也和Blake進行對打.

I really didn't mean to ace the actor Mark Indelicato on the first point! I
hadn't warmed up or practised my serve, and I just hit it too much to the
side! It was embarrassing!

I like meeting other athletes, so it was especially fun to play with Cullen.
The Olympics were a big disappointment for me professionally, but the
positive I could take out of it was that I took part in the opening ceremony
and got to know athletes from many different sports. It's very interesting
for me to learn about their lives, for example how they train and how they
prepared themselves for the competition.

I had a good practice session today. Pain in my thumb comes and goes, so I
just hope that it feels okay for my first match on Tuesday.

練習狀況不錯,手指傷勢也有好了一些

This will be the third year in a row that I play against Dushevina here. As
far as first round opponents go it's a very tough draw, so I will need to
play well in order to go through.

第三次對上Dushevina,將是場艱辛的比賽 順利闖進第二輪吧!

Hey Anci. Yesterday I heard a story about you and Novak practising together
when you were younger. Could you tell us more about that? Belgrade was proud
when you two that exhibition against each other a few years ago.

We used to see each other at tournaments when we were juniors, and one time
we practised together, but it went badly for me! I was trying very hard to
play my best, to keep up with him, and in the end I was so tired that I had
no energy left for my match, and I lost! So after that I didn't warm-up with
him again.

在青少年時期Ana跟Nole常會在比賽遇到. 有一次他們一起練習.
但對Ana來說是惡夢的開始. 她試著表現出最好的一面以便趕上他.
最後Ana太累,以致於沒體力比賽,然後輸掉比賽! 那之後Ana就不再跟Nole練習了
