Defeat gives Djokovic a well-earned rest

LONDON (Reuters) - Novak Djokovic said he would go home and forget about
tennis for a little while after his shock defeat by Marat Safin at Wimbledon
on Wednesday.

在經過被Safin擊敗的這場震撼教育之後，Nole會回家並且暫時忘記網球一陣子。

The 21-year-old Serb, seeded three here, was demolished 6-4 7-6 6-2 in a
second round clash on Centre Court, a rare blip in a career that has soared
since he lost to Safin in the first round of the 2005 Australian Open.

這位21歲的塞男孩，大會的第三種子，在第二輪以6-4 7-6 6-2在中央球場被擊敗，
自從他05年在澳網首輪被Safin擊敗後，他一路不斷提升的職業生涯裡遭遇到罕見的不穩。

It was the first time in six grand slam tournaments that Djokovic had fallen
before the semi-finals, a run that included winning his first major in
Melbourne in January.

這是Nole六次大滿貫賽裡第一次在半決賽之前出局，他在今年一月的墨爾本拿下
第一個大滿貫冠軍。

"I'm going to go home...home sweet home," Djokovic told repoorter "I'll rest
a little bit. Without the racket. I'll leave the rackets at home and go
somewhere many miles away."

"我會回家，回到我溫暖甜蜜的家" Nole告訴記者 "我會休息一陣子，沒有球拍
。我會把球拍放在家裡，然後去其他遠一點的地方。"

Normally such a ferocious competitor, Djokovic just could not get going
against an inspired opponent. His serve malfunctioned and he said it had just
been a bad day.

一直以來都是個很兇猛的競爭者，但今天Nole沒有辦法跟對手抗衡，發球不靈光
，他說今天對他來說是很糟的一天。


"I was serving a lot of double faults, which is unusual," he said. "I was just
not finding my momentum, that's all. What can I do? I didn't expect it,
honestly.

"我今天有很多雙發失誤，這很不尋常，我沒有辦法找到我的氣勢，就這樣。
我還能做什麼？說實話，我沒有預期會這樣。"

"He was mentally there. Every point he was going slowly...the opposite of me.
I was having a lot of ups and downs. When I found my momentum, I couldn't keep
it."

"他的心理狀態在那裡，每一分都慢慢拿，而我則是相反，我起伏很大，當我找回我的
氣勢時，我卻沒辦法讓它持續下去。"

Despite a punishing year Djokovic refused to blame fatigue for a pale
performance.

"Physically I wasn't tired. That was not the explanation why I lost today.
He was just better than me on the court. I had a very bad day, and that's it."

儘管是精疲力盡的一年，Nole拒絕將不好的表現推到疲累上

"身體上我不覺得累，那不是我今天輸球的解釋。他就是在球場上表現的比我好，
而我今天很糟糕，就這樣。"
