Novak has invited everyone to take part in the event


After Novak Djokovic`s visit last night at the MGM tennis complex, he has
started training today for the first time and asked everyone to take part in
the event.

“ I think that we, as a tennis nation, deserve to have a tournament. I am
proud of the fact that my family was able to organize such a big event in
only just five months. I helped them in the final negotiations with the ATP
world tour leading representatives and the players themselves. Photos of
Belgrade will travel the world. This is not just about the tournament itself
but also a place where they can find entertainment. It is important that
everyone that does take part in this event, including players and fans, are
satisfied and enjoy their time at the Serbia Open“ said Novak Djokovic.
The Number one Serbian ace added that he is nervous being the favorite for
the Serbian title and states he has a difficult challenge up ahead playing in
front of his home crowd.
