: Overcoming the hump
: Most players own 0-(insert double digit) records against either Federer or
: Nadal. While Djokovic owns a modest 5-11 record against them both in his
: career, he is 2-1 against both Federer and Nadal since the ATP Masters Series
: Canada in 2007. "Whenever I play (Federer) or Rafa I learn something new from
: those matches, and obviously, as the two most dominant players in the last
: couple of years, they deserve the highest respect," Djokovic said at the Sony
: Ericsson Open. "This is what I have for them, of course, as a professional
: athlete. But as soon as we get to the court, it's a different story.
: Throughout my career, I always had this advantage -- mental advantage. ...

克服困難
大多數的選手在與Rogi或是Rafa的對戰成績都是0-(隨便差個雙位數字吧)。
然而呢，Nole卻在生涯對上他們兩人時擁有了5-11的紀錄，
他在2007年加拿大名人賽後對上他們兩人的成績更是2-1呢!
"無論何時，我都能從與Rogi及Rafa的比賽中學到一些新的東西，
而顯然的，身為過去這幾年來在網壇最具支配性的球員，他們很值得贏得最高的尊敬。"
Nole在Miami Ericsson Open這麼說
"當然，身為一個職業運動選手，我對他們也有著高度的尊敬，
但一旦我們在場上遇到了，那又是另外一回事了。
在我的職業生涯中，我總是有這樣一項優勢─心靈上的優勢...
這對我的未來是很鼓勵性的一個事實

: At Indian Wells, California where he won his second tournament of the year,
: Djokovic was asked about where the Olympics would rank in importance --
: technically, despite his current No. 3 ranking, Djokovic will not qualify for
: Beijing until the June 9 world rankings are released. "(The Olympics are)
: probably on the top -- one of the tops for sure," Djokovic told reporters at
: the Pacific Life Open. "I mean, come on, Olympics. You get to play Grand
: Slams every year, you know -- four Grand Slams. Olympics, you get to play one
: time in four years, and who knows what till happen in four years for us. So I
: will not risk that, and I'll be very honored and privileged to participate in
: such an event."

最大的優勢
在加州的Indian Wells，那個他贏得今年第二個賽事的地方，
Nole被問到北京奧運在他心目中的重要性排行榜是排在第幾名
─技術上來說，雖然他目前是世界排名第3，
但Nole在直到六月9號的世界排名出爐前，他還不一定有資格參賽呢。
而在Miami Ericsson Open時，Nole就回答記者了
"奧運大概是被排在第一吧─至少一定會是最頂端排名的其中一個
我是說，拜託，是奧運耶!!
你每年都能打大滿貫，而且還是四個大滿貫賽。
但奧運的話，你只能每四年打一次耶!!
誰知道這四年裡什麼是會發生什麼事情阿?!
所以我才不想冒險不參加，而且能參加這項賽事，我感到非常榮耀且是受到恩典的。"

: Politically minded
: In February of 2008, Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia, causing
: civil unrest in an area that most of Djokovic's family calls home. The
: separation from Serbia, as well as angering most Serbs, has caused division
: in Kosovo. Djokovic taped a speech in that same month that was aired in
: Belgrade during a rally to keep Kosovo and Serbia as one. "I wanted to give
: the people support, and I just wanted to let them know that I am there with
: them and that I'm supporting Serbia and Kosovo," Djokovic told reporters in
: Indian Wells. "... This was a very unique situation, so I did something that
: I felt (like) doing."

很有政治頭腦
在2008年二月，科索沃宣佈自塞爾維亞獨立，使得Nole家族稱為「家」的地方內亂不斷。
這個與塞爾維亞切割的動作，不僅激怒了大部分的塞爾維亞人，也造成柯索沃內部分裂。
在同個月的巴爾格勒，一個試圖讓塞爾維亞及柯索沃團結的場合中，
播放了Nole先前錄音的一個演說
"我想給那些人們支持，我只是想讓他們知道我與他們同在以及我支持塞爾維亞及柯索沃"
Nole在Indian Wells是這麼告訴記者。
"這是個很特殊的情況，因此我做了我想做的事情。"

: Still the Djok-er
: While he has touched on much more serious topics, Djokovic has shown he's
: still just a kid, soon to be 21, in a lot of ways. Most notably was his
: "play" at the 2007 U.S. Open where video of Djokovic doing impersonations of
: Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Maria Sharapova had made its rounds on
: YouTube and around the internet. It was even a featured bit on USA Network
: after he won in the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open.

仍然是人們熟知的Djoker
雖然他觸及許多比較嚴肅的話題，Nole也在許多方面表現出他仍是個孩子
─一個將滿21歲的孩子。
最受矚目的大概就是他在2007年美網的"表演"了，
那時他模仿了Rogi、Rafa以及沙娃的影片在Youtube以及網路到處流傳。
這段影片甚至在他贏得美網八強時在美國電視台播出。
