這是一篇我記得我當初看了覺得很溫暖的小故事

Good evening all So yet another wonderful day at Queens draws to a close
-I am so tired I'm propping my eyes open with matchsticks,-
but it was worth it.

晚安大家，又是美好的一天，在即將結束的女王草地賽上
-我好累，需要用火柴支持著我的雙眼睜開- 但一切都是值得的!!

Nole was awesome - he did much better than I expected against Lleyton, who I
always like to watch on grass. I thought the match would be a lot closer than
it was. Nole was just too good for him - at some stages I even felt sorry for
Hewitt.

Nole實在是太棒了- 他跟Hewitt的競爭比我預期的要好很多, 我一向很喜歡Hewitt草地
的比賽. 我本來以為結果會很接近的. 但Nole實在是太棒了- 在某些時刻我甚至為Hewitt
感到有些遺憾!!

Crowd was pretty much what you expect at Queens - quiet except for the clink
of Pimms glasses.  I made a few pathetic little cries of "adje Nole" though
- he kind of laughed at me. But in a nice way. At one point the daft woman in
front of me told me to "ssssh",- so I politely told her I was at a tennis match
not a funeral, so I would cheer my player on if I wanted, and if she didn't
like it, then she could move  Yes - it did work!

觀眾就跟大家預期會在女王草地上見到的一樣, 現場除了一些香檳乾杯的聲音以外就是
”安靜”。 我在比賽中喊了幾次小聲的”Adje Nole”- Nole以一個非常友善的方式對我
微笑, 坐在我前面的一個笨女人(噁 好直接)叫我”噓!~~”- 我非常有禮貌的跟他說我
是在一個網球比賽裡，不是在喪禮上，我可以為我支持的選手加油只要我想的話，如果她
不喜歡可以移位。是的! 我的話奏效了!

Off the tennis court - my respect for Nole just goes up and up. I just wish
some of the haters could see what he is really like  He has so much time for
people - especially kids and anyone who is "disadvantaged" in any way.

在球場外，我對Nole的尊敬越來越增加。我希望一些討厭他的人可以看看真正的他
是怎樣。他將時間分給人們，特別是小孩和一些弱勢的人。

For example - there is an old guy that comes to Queens every year - in his
60's I guess, but with a mental age of maybe 9 or 10. He is very sweet natured
and likes to chat, but definitely has some major mental/emotional problems.
He also has a worrying habit of breaking into song at all times-mostly Elvis
numbers. He always hangs around the practice courts, and most of the players
try to avoid him  But when Nole's practice finished today, he came over to chat
to me and this guy started to talk to him. Well Nole's face was a picture -
his smile was so completely genuine - he put his arm around the old guy and
said "hello my old friend" and talked to him for ages. He gave him a towel
from his bag, and the old chap was almost crying with happiness  Made me  too
- it was so touching.

例如:每年女王草地賽都會有一個老人來，我猜他大概60歲，但是心智年齡可能只有9歲或
10歲。他的個性很純真自然，喜歡跟大家聊天，但是他有一些智力和情緒上的問題，他有
一個讓人很擔心的習慣，就是會突然的哼唱起貓王的歌。他總是在練習場附近閒晃，而大
多數的球員會避著他。但今天當Nole練習結束之後，Nole走過來跟我聊天(這個人跟Nole
好像也太熟了一點吧 XD)，老先生就在這個時候開始跟Nole講話。Nole的臉簡直就是一副
畫(形容的有點小誇張 :P)–他的微笑非常的真誠 – 他攬著這個老人說"哈囉~我的老朋友"
，然後開始跟他聊天聊超久的。最後Nole拿出包包裡的毛巾給了老先生，這位老先生開心的
快哭出來，讓我也很想哭 –非常感人。

Afterwards I was chatting to one of the Stewards, who said that Nole and
Andy Roddick were the two players they saw as being the nicest and most
genuine with fans throughout the week. He said nothing was too much trouble
for them - and they were always friendly and helpful and polite.

然後我也跟其中一個管理員聊天，他說Nole跟Roddick是這個禮拜他們看過最好，也對球
迷最真誠的兩個球員。他說幾乎沒有什麼事情會對他們造成困擾，他們總是很友善、樂於
助人以及有禮貌。

Nice thing - is it seems that Nole does a lot behind the scenes with kids
etc- not just "performing" for TV cameras or whatever, but because he's
genuinely sweet kid.

很棒- 看起來Nole私底下做了很多事情，跟小孩或是其他人的互動，而不只是在電視螢光
幕前"表演"，因為他是一個這麼可愛的孩子!!
