New to the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, 17-year-old Croatian Petra Martic played
her second main draw tournament at Portoroz, Slovenia in July. Reaching the
quarterfinals at her second-ever Tour stop, she made her mark as a player to
watch.

WTA 賽事中的新星，17歲的克羅地亞人 Petra Martic 在七月在 Portoroz， Slovenia

One of her coaches is Zoltan Kuharsky, who also works with Hungarian rising
star Agnes Szavay. At 1.81 metres tall, the right-hander from Split has the
potential to battle it out with the big names in women's tennis.

Which tennis player do you most admire on the Tour?
I always respected Justine Henin, but I also like Ana Ivanovic; I like the
way she plays.

目前在役選手中最欣賞的選手是？
我總是很欣賞 Justine Hein。 (怪怪，不是八月一號的採訪嗎？Henin退休了啦 Q_Q)
我也很喜歡 Ana Ivanovic，我喜歡她打球的方式。

How did you first get into tennis?
I was about four-and-a-half years old and my mother took me to the tennis
courts. I fell in love with the game and here I am. I have no brothers or
sisters so I had no one to live up to, but I fought my hardest and I love
sport in general.

你第一次打網球時打得如何？
我大概是四歲半時被我媽帶去網球場。我馬上愛上了這遊戲，直到現在。我沒有兄弟
姐妹可以跟隨他們的腳步，但是我自己面對困難而且基本上我喜歡運動。

What are your aims and ambitions for your tennis career?
I'd like to get into the Top 20 in the world.

對於你的網球生涯，你的目標跟抱負是什麼？
我想要成為世界排名前20的選手。
(喔喔，塞克版看來要熱鬧畢了，有人訪談要翻不完囉 XDD)

What other hobbies and interests do you have?
I like the usual: music, TV, going to the cinema and playing table tennis
with my friends. I was born and brought up in Split, Croatia and we have a
very nice beach nearby that I like to go to.

你還有什麼其他的興趣跟嗜好呢？
我喜歡平常的事，聽音樂、看電視、看電影及跟我朋友玩桌球。我在 Coratia的 Split
出生跟長大，我們附近有一個很棒的海攤，而且我喜歡去那邊。
(真的很漂亮，真是的 Ana jj 跟 navarro 怎麼都出生在很漂亮的地方啦 好好喔)

If you hadn't been a tennis player what would you be doing instead?
I didn't like school too much so I think I would've played another sport.

如果你當初不是選擇當網球選手的話，你會選擇去作什麼？
我並不是很喜歡學校，所以我想我會去練另一種運動。
(哈哈哈 小姐 你才17耶 難怪會一副青春運動形象啊~根本靜不下來嗎？)

What's your favorite tournament?
The US Open. It has my favorite service and I enjoy the atmosphere.

你最喜歡那個賽事？
美網。在美網我發球發的很好，而且我喜歡那裡的氣氛。(又卡關 Orz)

Most admired player of all-time?
It has to be Steffi Graf. She had the best forehand and I liked the way she
played. She's the most famous and star-like to me.

一直以來最敬佩那一位網球選手？
那一定是 Steffi Graf。 他有最好的正拍，而且我喜歡他打球的方式。她是最有名的
選手，而且對我來說像是偶像一般。

這位Petra Martic 真是好傢伙，會說三語啊，我好慚愧，媽~~
我也會啊 我會國語 閩南語 跟 英語 (都不精通 哈哈哈)
我覺得應該又有一堆錯，懇請校正達人稍微幫忙一下 XDD
