I've been to Hong Kong… three times now. My first impression was that this is
a really hot [temperature] place.

My schedule… has been loaded with interviews and other promotional material.
I've been really busy, but yesterday I had time off and got to go some
shopping.
我的行程表… 已經排滿了訪問和其他宣傳事務。我非常忙碌, 但我昨天有利用時間去購
物。
I originally wanted… to be an actor, but someone offered me the chance
[to be] a singer. I felt singing was like acting, but on stage, so I changed
my dream and began to have ambitions as a singer.
我原本希望…能成為演員, 但有人給我成為歌手的機會。我覺得唱歌與演戲差不多, 不同
的是唱歌要在舞台上演出, 所以我改變我的夢想, 開始以成為歌手作目標。
Nowadays… it’s no longer the case where you act and only act, and when you
sing you only sing. That's not how the industry is. Plus, I've always felt
that singing on stage is like acting on stage, and since I wanted to be an
actor first, that attracted me to be a musician.
現在…沒有辦法只演戲或只唱歌。這個事業不是這樣運作的。加上, 我常認為在舞台上唱
歌等於在台上演戲, 然後因為我原先想成為演員, 所以這更能吸引我成為音樂人。
I've taken… a more hands-on approach in my music. I'll be producing the next
[album] myself. And I'm learning a lot and doing a lot of things myself. I'm
more involved in my work now so that feels like a real high for me.
我已…主動接觸音樂。我將會製作自己下一張作品。另外,我學習了很多, 又由自己完成
不少事情。我現在會更加投入我的工作達成更高的目標。
At first I was… worried about releasing a solo album, but I was fortunate
enough to meet a lot of great people [who helped me]. I worked through it and
have gained confidence along the way.
最初我…對發行個人專輯感到十分擔心, 但我很幸運地能得到很多厲害的人的幫忙。我完
成了我的工作並從中建立了不少信心。
The album is called "The Park Jung Min" because… it was finally time to
emphasise my own existence and not as a member of SS501. I really wanted to
come out and let people know that I'm a solo artist and I wanted to emphasise
my name, too. So that's why it's self-titled.
這張專輯叫<The Park Jung Min>的原因是… 終於是時候不以SS501團員的身份強調我的
存在。我十分希望能出來讓大家知道我是名個人歌手, 我更想強調自己的名字。所以這是
一張同名專輯。
I have a few nicknames… -rabbit, horse, and sexy charisma. I was born in the
Year of the Rabbit. I like rabbits, too, so that's why some people call me
that. In Korean, horse is "mai", but it also means "words" or "talk". I'm a
really talkative person- a lot of people feel that way, too- so it suits me
well.
我有幾個別稱…兔, 馬和性感魅力。我在兔年出生, 又很喜歡兔子, 所以有人會叫我兔子
。韓語中的馬讀作"mai", 但它同時解作「字詞」和「話語」。我是個十分健談的人, 很
多人都認同, 所以這個名字和我很相稱。
Never lose… sight of your dream. If there's something you want, don't
hesitate, just go for it. There's an old Korean saying: "When you think it's
too late, it's a bit early." It means it's never too late, even when you think
it is. Keep that saying in your mind and you can conquer any challenge.
不要…放棄你的夢想。如果有東西你很想得到, 千萬不要猶豫, 快去追尋它。有句韓國諺
語說: 當你想是太遲的時候, 還早著。它的意思是永遠沒有太遲的事, 只有你認為已經太
遲。記住這句話你便能克服任何挑戰。
