From: Soccernet Wolves have lined up a surprise transfer swoop for Italian star Dino Baggio. The 32-year-old midfielder is in the Black Country meeting club chief executive Jez Moxey and boss Dave Jones. Baggio, capped 60 times by his country, is leaving Lazio on a free transfer after three years at the club and landing his signature would be a major coup for the Premiership new boys. Moxey told the Express & Star: 'Dino Baggio is coming in today to talk to us and for us to talk to him. 'There are no agreements for either party and it is just a case of both sides meeting up for the first time and talking about the future. We will see what develops.' Baggio began his Serie A career with Torino in 1990/1 and he spent a season each at Inter Milan and Juventus before his six-year stay at Parma began in 1994.
