Lopez: "The fans deserve this"

Claudio Lopez is in great form and one of the best players this season and
today he spoke at Formello.
Lopez: "When I entered the stadium yesterday it was beautiful to see the fans
sing and wave the flags and scarfs. The fans are understanding that we are
giving all we have and then we have Mancini who has becomed the link between
the fans and the squad. We are proving to the fans and the club that we on
the field forget about the non-football matters. The Lazio fan deserves this
after the bad past year."
Lopez: "We must continue like this but we want to stay in the shadow. We let
the other teams talk about their prospectives, we take one game at the time."
Lopez on his great season so far: "For sure Mancini's faith in me has been
very important, and it was the same when I first arrived and Mancini was
Eriksson's vice coach. And then we now have fun on the field. "
