Bernardo Corradi has dismissed stories that he is angling for a future move
to Juventus.
The Lazio striker was at the centre of transfer speculation at the weekend
where it was claimed that he dreams of playing alongside David Trezeguet and
Fabrizio Miccoli.
But the former Chievo and Inter man has rubbished the reports, claiming that
he was misquoted.
"I read the headlines and let me say that I didn急 like what I saw," said the
giant attacker. "It旧 unbelievable how certain things can be twisted to
change their significance.
"I really want to make it clear that I am honoured to be wearing the Lazio
shirt. I am enthusiastic to continue wearing it with the aim of winning major
hours."
Corradi, who scored on his international debut against Portugal last week,
moved to the Olimpico in the summer.
He arrived as part of the deal that saw Hernan Crespo leave the capital for
Inter at the end of August.
