Unexpected: Lazio Sign Conceicao
08/06/2003. A shock return has occurred at Lazio, but it's not Paolo Di
Canio's as some Italian media sources were indicating.
Instead the Biancocelesti just announced the signing of Sergio Conceicao,
who was released by former side Inter last July.
The confirmation of the deal arrived from the player's agent Luciano
D'Onofrio, who told calciomanager.it,
"We struck a deal with the club, Sergio Conceicao is a Biancoceleste again."
The Portuguese wing played with Lazio for two seasons between 1998 and
2000, the last one being extremely successful as his team won the Scudetto.
