Some people consider training for kids should start as soon as possible.
If they are accommodated to doing something regularly, they form a habit.
Having a good habit needs long-term learning, so it had better begin when
they are able to do. Even though some people think it is too strict for
children, I am in favor of this argument.
As for household tasks, I think all family members should take
responsibilities to do them. Every member has to make contribution to the
living space according to his or her ability. One can do things that require
little strength or mechanical skills even if he or she is still a child.
Moreover, if children are not required to help housework, as time passes
by, they may take it for granted and be reluctant to assist. On the contrary,
children who are asked to take part in the household activities in an early
age are apt to take the duty for granted, too.
In addition, the more the helpers are, the easier the task is. Training
the children to help household chores can lighten the burden of their
parents, especially when they are career persons. Therefore, the whole family
can take account of others’ toil and get along harmoniously.
For the reasons mentioned above, I approve of the argument that children
should be required to help housework as soon as they are able to do so.
