2.Schools should ask students to evaluate their teachers. Do you agree or
disagree? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
The teacher evaluation system usually be implemented in the end of school
term in my experience . According to my experience , i agree the system should
be existed in school though it have some disadvantages .
One of these disadvantages is that teacher can affects student's answers in the
questionnaire . Most of this questionnaires were filled out in class time , of
course the teacher was been there , too . Teachers can use their power and
change the answers easily in this situation .
The other disadvantage is comes from students and questionnaire design .
Likert Scale was used extensively in questionnaire design , but sometimes I
heard my classmates filled it by random without watched it . Even if one
filled it conscientiously , can the nominal ("good" or "perfect") reflects the
real thought about this teacher in student's mind ?
Though the teacher evaluation system has some disadvantages in implemention ,
but it's necessary for students and school to enhance teaching quality . As
long as administrations in school can improve these implemented problems and
questionnaire design , this system is quite a useful method to find out who is
a good teacher and which teacher should be replaced or kick out .
