Your argument is impressive and convincing.
However, is it "important", as the speaker states, for adults?
My idea is that, adults are surely more capable,
and seeming to have more tendancy to obey the rules.
But they might not think that it's important or be willing to.
They are just used to, in my opinion, obeying them.
Another possible answer could be that it's easier to do so without thinking
of other choices.
As for kids, they're eager to play games.
Once they learn that they should learn about the rules and obeying them,
they will. Out of their willingness, they view rules as important.
Creativity is based on some foundations.
In this case,rules in games are the basic element for creativity.
