3. If you were an employer, which kind of worker would you prefer to hire:
an inexperienced worker at a lower salary or an experienced worker at a
higher salary? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.
Workers is the most important sources of a company. It is very important to
choose right workers. In my opinion, I prefer choose an experienced worker
at a higher salary. Here are some reasons why.
In the first place, because the practiced workers have plenty of experiences
and professional skills, they are able to efficiently deal with any tasks.
They can increase the power of company soon and provide other
colleagues for their help. For example, if company directors want to employ
a electrical engineering, they are supposed that the employee is competent
and well skilled. Therefore, these workers are able to take immediate
advantages to company and to supplement the disadvantages of the
company.
In the second place, it is more economical for a company to hire a
experienced worker than to hire an inexperienced freshman. The training
courses and fees are required to novices; however, for a well experienced
expert, he is ready to take up a challenge. A freshman can not only help
company to solve problems but also have to use the company resources.
Most company have three months training periods for their new coming
employees and ,at the same time, the company is still necessary to pay
these freshmen salary . In the aspect of economic, it is very unwise for a
company to employ novice rather than an experienced worker.
In conclusion, it is more advantageous for a company to hire an experienced
worker than to hire an inexperienced worker. Well experienced worker can
take immediate benefit to the company and to help other workers in the
company. Besides, the company is also able to save expense of training.
Therefore, if I were the boss of a company, I would hire experienced
worker at a higher salary rather than an inexperienced worker at a lower
salary.
