hm....that is not the only way though,
There is an AIR BUS you can take, setting off directly from SFO airport.
The only down side of it is that it would cost you US$40 just for one trip!

原作問的是，「從SF downtown」
機場巴士當然不能算，因為它不是從SF downtown/SF city出發
基本上機場巴士、shuttle、pre-arranged van是可以到得了灣區週邊的任何地方
多遠都行 (價錢是另一回事)
但這不是從SF downtown出發，一般的旅行者也不會跑去機場搭機場巴士
因為費時又費錢 (通常比一般的大眾運輸貴)
