每年秋冬雨季直到次年春季，山上的草是綠色的。
要看大樹，舊金山灣區有很多紅木那類巨大的樹木，因為加州很多地
區有半年多不下雨，所以難長出整片樹林。
若要看山坡上的樹木，建議轉向西側看，會有比較多的樹木，例如在
Los Gatos 那一帶的山坡地就是樹木繁多，走I-680 在Pleasanton到
San Ramon 沿線也是向西側看山坡地的樹木較多。
我曾經思索過，為何都是面東的山坡上樹木較多，目前的心得是，灣
區常常上午有雲，中午才開始放晴，以致面東的山坡容易保存較多水
份，而面西的山坡都在下午被曬乾。
有人有其他看法或解釋嗎？
