Daniel is the man behind the music of Savage Garden.
He plays most of the instruments the band uses
(keyboard, guitars, digital) and does some background vocals,
as well as co - writing songs with Darren Hayes.
Daniel "blames" his musical influences on his older brothers
who started playing imstruments at age 8,
as well as his childhood & teenage music experiences,
namely XTC, Gabriel and Tears for Fears.
