Q1:What are you up to at the moment?
Daniel and I having a well-earned rest.
We've been promoting and touring this album
for about two years now and we need a while
to clear our heads,relax and focus on the
next album.
Q2:You always put on great shows.How important
is it for you to sing live?
It's definitely the most important thing to me
I think all artists should sing live at every
opportunity they get.I don't have a problem with
other people miming,but it's just not something
I feel I could handle myself.I like to feel like
I'm the finished artist, not just someone who's
singing about someone else's emotions.
Q3:Describe a Savage Garden gig...
Funky,Passionate,emotional and exciting.
Q4:How do you prepare for a gig?
I like to spend time alone in the dressing room.
I drink some tea with honey in it and do some
vocal cord warm ups,then we all have a group hug
and make sure everybody is ready to go.Maybe a little
prayer as well,it depends.
