Hello fans,
After the great opening win over Bucharest in the Champions League, all of us
players and fans certainly hoped that we could do more in the game against
Bayern. And for 20 minutes we did it, we played really well against them,
but it just wasn't enough. The double blow with the first two goals broke us
and then the Bavarians could play the rest of the game out with their
strengths - and those strengths are not small.
Of course, such errors should not happen. We now have to analyze the game
carefully and find our way back to where we were in the last few weeks, with
three wins without conceding a goal. The game against Darmstadt in the Cup is
a good starting place but they put Mönchengladbach out in the first round of
the Pokal and then won 6-0 at the weekend against Hansa Rostock, so we have
been warned!!
I am sure that we can win there with the appropriate concentration. The
defeat against Bayern will not hurt us, we will immediately absorb momentum
and start a new winning streak again.
