PHILADELPHIA - Welcome back, Elton Brand.
With head coach Eddie Jordan thinking long and hard before deciding against a
lineup change that would've put Brand on the bench and Rodney Carney in the
starting five, Brand responded with his best game of the season in Wednesday's
86-84 victory over the Bobcats at the Wachovia Center.

productive for that long coming off two injury-filled years.

Andre Iguodala said he wasn't surprised that Brand was so solid.
"It's just a matter of getting in a good rhythm," said Iguodala, who led the
Sixers with 25 points.
"We all go through slumps. This (Philadelphia) is like one of the worst places
to go through a slump in. It's good to see him have a great game - just let a
lot of people know what he can do.
"He did a good job tonight - it wasn't us getting him involved. He got himself
involved with blocked shots and offensive put-backs. He just had a little pep
in his step tonight."
