No starts, fewer minutes disturb Dalembert
失去先發地位和上場時間讓小戴很困擾

Cheeks wants more consistency.

Samuel Dalembert hasn't had a single start at center for the 76ers since coming
back from an injury five games ago. He probably won't start again today in
Memphis, although coach Maurice Cheeks said his decision "could change by 3
o'clock," the local starting time of the game.
五場比賽前，Dalembert 自傷病中歸隊，不過一場都沒有先發。今天對灰熊的比賽，他也
可能不會先發。雖然 Cheeks 說也許在3點比賽前會改變主意。
Dalembert said that not starting is affecting him, but he is even more puzzled
by the fact that he's playing limited minutes. He's particularly baffled and
bothered at having sat while the Sixers coughed up each of their last three
games in the final two minutes.
Dalembert 說失去先發讓他很難過，但是只能獲得少少的上場時間的原因讓他更困惑。尤

"You can't imagine," Dalembert said after yesterday's practice at the
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. "The way things went down for me,
just coming back from injury, the last thing you expected is just not playing.
It's one thing if you're not starting. But the last thing you expect is not
being able to play, and that's a surprise."

Before going down in the fourth quarter of a Feb. 22 win over Cleveland with a
sprained left ankle, Dalembert started all 40 games in which he had played,
averaging 31.1 minutes, 9.0 points, 9.9 rebounds, and an NBA-leading 3.30
blocked shots.
在2月22日對騎士的比賽第四節扭傷腳踝前，Dalembert 先發40場，平均上場31.1分鐘，
得9分9.9籃板和聯盟第一的3.3火鍋。
He sat out three games and returned on March 1 at Houston. However, in the last
five games, his numbers have been significantly reduced: 14.3 minutes, 4.2
points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocks.
休息了三場後，在3月1號對火箭的比賽歸隊。然而最近五場，他的數據明顯減少：14.3分

Dalembert said he never has received an explanation from Cheeks as to why he's
not starting or playing more.

He said that in his five seasons with the Sixers, other than the time he
started consistently for coach Chris Ford in the final two months of the
2003-04 season, his career "always has been upside-down, every single year."

Cheeks, who has started Steven Hunter at center in the last eight games, said
he doesn't have a specific plan to return Dalembert as a starter if he plays at
a certain level.

那種程度的話，他不會讓他回到先發。
"No, I just want him to do the things I know he's capable of doing," he said.
"That is, rebounding the ball, clogging up the middle, blocking shots, running
the floor. It's just doing those things on a consistent basis, not doing them
selectively, but doing them the way he's capable of doing them, getting the job
done. Because when he plays like that, he makes us a better team."
「不，我只是想要他發揮他應有的水準，」他說，「也就是抓下籃板、坐鎮禁區、蓋火鍋
以及不停奔跑。自始至終努力做好每一樣他能做到的事，而不是選擇性的做。因為只要他

Dalembert's response: "I'm disappointed to hear I'm not playing consistently.
If that's the reason, I don't know, unless they know me better than I know
myself. I'm going to keep on trying. That's not going to be a problem with me."
Dalembert 回應說：「聽到我沒有持續做好份內的工作讓我很沮喪。如果這就是原因，我
不知道，除非他們比我自己更了解我。我會繼續努力，對我來說這不是個問題。」
Having said that, Dalembert said he will continue to do his best at whatever
the team needs from him.
說完後，Dalembert 又說他會繼續做好任何球隊需要他去做到的事。
"I'll try to do anything possible coming off the bench," he said, "helping us
win some games."

Injury update. The Sixers said yesterday that Allen Iverson suffered a
fractured left pinkie last week. Iverson did not practice yesterday, and Chris
Webber sat out with a sore back. Both are expected to play today.

也因背痛坐在場邊。今天他們都應該會上場。
Guard Kevin Ollie, who sprained his right ankle against Boston, will sit out
today.
