Playbook: Hawes Facilitates High-low Offense

With center Andrew Bynum now serving as the Sixers' primary offensive target
in the post, head coach Doug Collins envisions forward-center Spencer Hawes
using his elite vision and passing ability to create opportunities for the
former-Laker. In Los Angeles, Bynum played alongside Pau Gasol, whose style
of play is very similar to that of Hawes.
在Andrew Bynum的低位將成為七六人主要進攻目標的現下，
總教練Doug Collins展望中前鋒Spencer Hawes利用他傑出的視野和傳球能力，

Evan Turner brings the ball up court. Andre Iguodala and Jrue Holiday, both
dangerous spot-up shooters, stand in the far corners, drawing their
defenders, Rajon Rondo (#9) and Paul Pierce (#34) out of the paint
(represented by chain links). Elton Brand and Spencer Hawes stand at the
elbows, as Hawes begins to come forward to set a pick for Turner.

Hawes gets in position to set the pick as Turner looks to dribble right. Just
before setting his feet for the screen, Hawes releases (this is called a slip
screen) and floats to the top of the key. Hawes' defender, Brandon Bass
(#30), is expecting a pick and tries to hedge it (pressure the ball-handler,
Turner, to keep him from penetrating/pulling up). This leaves Hawes wide open
at the top of the key.
Hawes到位完成這次擋人之後，Turner試圖運球向右，
才剛在擋人上站定位的Hawes，（這稱做假擋）隨即抽身移動到罰球線弧頂。

Turner passes to an open Hawes, who squares up to the basket and sets up to
shoot. Because of Hawes' consistent mid/long-range jumper, Kevin Garnett (#5)
is forced to decide whether to stay with his man, Elton Brand, or to pressure
Hawes to prevent an open shot, creating a high-low two-on-one opportunity for
the offense (highlighted in color).
Turner傳球給沒人防守的Hawes，他擺出投籃的動作，作勢要出手。
因為Hawes有著穩定的中/長距離跳投能力，Kevin Garnett (#5)被迫決定：
到底要繼續粘著他負責的球員Elton Brand，
還是去對Hawes施壓以防他在無人防守下出手。

Hawes gives a shot fake, which forces Garnett, who has decided to come
forward and pressure the ball, to leave his feet. Elton Brand (in color) is
left wide open under the basket. Hawes sees this and pulls back the shot
fake, preparing to feed him in the low post.
Hawes做了一個投籃假動作，迫使Garnett決定上前並且對球施壓，離開了他原先的位置。
Elton Brand（有顏色的）在籃底下出現了完全無人盯防的狀況。
Hawes查覺到了這點，收回了投籃假動作，準備把球餵給低位空檔的隊友。
Hawes makes the easy entry pass to Brand, who drops it in. Paul Pierce shows
his displasure.
