The last two years, Jodie Meeks was the starting shooting
guard for the Sixers. Meeks is now a member of the Los Angeles
Lakers, having joined them as a free agent this summer.

It is a sentence that will be finished at some point during
training camp. Third-year player Evan Turner started 20 games
last year at that the two, and when the postseason rolled
around he added another 12 starts.

Turner is a starter, but he will likely move over to the small
forward spot vacated by Andre Iguodala, where he is better
suited given his lack of three-point shooting (.224 in 2012)
or ability to knock down a jumper coming off screens.
A guy who can do those two things, and is the front runner to
join Jrue Holiday in the starting backcourt, is 31-year-old
Jason Richardson.

Richardson, who was acquired in the four-team trade that also
brought Andrew Bynum to Philadelphia, is a career 37 percent
three-point shooter and has averaged 17.5 points per game over
his 11-year NBA career.
He is one of nine active players who can boast at least 1,500
made threes.
在四方交易中跟著Bynum一起帶槍轉投費城的J-Rich在他十一年的生涯

Richardson has some of the qualities that led to Doug Collins
starting Meeks for 114 games of the past two seasons. Both
players have the ability to spread the floor and shoot the
three. Plus, Richardson has experience. Richardson has started
794 of a possible 805 games that he has played during his pro
career.
J-Rich擁有一些讓Doug當初決定把Meeks排入先發名單當中的其中一些

Last year in Orlando, Richardson averaged career lows in
points per game (11.6) and minutes per contest (29.5). Given
the depth on this roster and Collins' being a coach with as
much faith in his reserves as starters, Richardson's
statistics from last season will likely be the ballpark for
his numbers this year.

He also averaged 5.1 three-point field goal attempts per game
last year, 1.1 more than Jodie Meeks who led the Sixers with
four attempts per game from long range.

With Richardson, Nick Young and Dorell Wright on the team,
there is a reasonable expectation that the Sixers will create
moints from behind the arc.
As a group they attempted the sixth fewest threes per game
(14.6) last year.
在J-Rich/Nick Young/D-Wright聯袂加入七六人後，你有充足的理由
可以相信七六人今年可以在外線拿更多分。
