When the Sixers acquired Andrew Bynum, the city of
Philadelphia celebrated the arrival of a big man who instantly
became labeled as the best center in the Eastern Conference —
 and more notably, the face of the Sixers' franchise.

If true, both are firsts for the 24-year-old Bynum.

當七六人迎來了Drew之後，整個BL之城都為了這個巨人到來而嗨翻，並
且把他視為東區的第一中鋒，也毫無疑問的將他視為了七六人下一個頭
牌人物。

如果這些事情都發生，對現年24歲的Drew來說也是第一次。

Heading into his first go-around with the Sixers, things will
be different for the 7-footer compared to his days in Los
Angeles. As a Laker, Bynum was not the man — that was clearly
Kobe Bryant. He wasn't the go-to force the Sixers are
expecting him to be, and he may have even played third-fiddle
to Pau Gasol.

當他開始職業生涯當中第一次的變換環境的當下，對於這個七呎巨人來
說一切都會有很大的不同，至少費城跟天使城是個截然不一樣的城市。

And now that he's been thrust into a leading role with the
Sixers, in a sports-crazed city, it's elicited skepticism from
TNT analyst and ex-Sixer Charles Barkley.

而現在毫無疑問的，七六人會把他推上前線，成為那個球隊的第一人，
但是在七六人，或者換句話說，要為了整個城市瘋狂的球迷打球（而不
是表演給好萊塢那些超級明星看），並沒有想像中的這麼輕鬆。Chuck

"When you go from being a role player to a star, [things
change]. He’s never been the best player on his team — you’
re a role player,” Barkley said in an interview on NBA.com. "I
’m not sure he’s been the second-best player on his team
before. It’s debatable between him and Pau Gasol. So, he goes
from being the third-best player on his team to being the man.
The level of intensity that that takes, the level of pressure
that brings, and you compound that by Philadelphia — it’s
going to be a very interesting season for Andrew Bynum.”

In 2011-12, Bynum averaged 18.7 points per game — second to
Bryant — and a team-best 11.8 rebounds, compared to averages
of 17.4 and 10.4 by Gasol.

是他第一次在LA成為第二得分點，也是第一次同時在得分與籃板上力壓

“I like Andrew Bynum. I think he’s a very good player,”
 Barkley said. “But the stress level he’s going to come upon
now is going to be totally different than anything he’s
experienced in his NBA career.”

Chuck:

Sam Amico of FOXSports.com posed this question as the biggest
for the Sixers’ 2012-13 season:

“Is Andrew Bynum capable of staying focused enough to turn
into the future Hall-of-Famer the 76ers plan on him becoming
in the low post?”

Barkley offered his three most glaring concerns, all of which
revolved around Bynum.

“Can Andrew Bynum be the man? That’s the first question,”
 Barkley said. “Second question: How [are] him and Doug
Collins gonna get together? And the third one is: What do you
do with his financial situation?”

Sir也提出了類似的意見，他認為七六人這個球季的關鍵問題都在Drew
的身上，其中的三個部份被他特別點出來。

Chuck:

And before the Sixers commit their future around Bynum,
Barkley believes they should wait and see how their new star
performs on center stage.

“I want to see how he’s going to handle the pressure in
Philly,” Barkley said. “How him and Doug Collins are going

Barkley認為Doug Collins對場上的掌控慾望，跟Phil Jackson與Mike
Brown是完全不同層次的，所以對Bynum來說如何調整，並且把Doug的各
種指導當作是推動自己前進的助力，也是非常重要的一件事情。

主持人還有問Sir有關七六人能否複製去年季後賽的成功，Chuck也給出
了很明確的答案，關鍵都在Bynum身上。

他認為雖然七六人在公牛沒有失去Joakim Noah的情況下能否過關其實
是有疑問的，但是毫無疑問的是七六人過去這幾年都是一個貨真價實的
季後賽球隊，氣氛與打法都非常成熟，只是一直沒有足夠的天份越過第
一輪這個門檻；但是這些都不重要，重點是必須往前看，Drew是否能夠
變成七六人升級的那個關鍵，而三點重點就是文章裡面所翻譯過的。

另外他在訪問當中，以費城前輩的身份，詳述了有關他即將面對的壓力
所在。Sir以他自己本身為例子，他說他一開始加入七六人的時候，身
邊有很多偉大的隊友，像是Doctor、Moses、Mo Cheeks、Andrew Toney、
Bobby Jones等等的傳球球員，Barkley形容當年這個時期的自己，就如
同於這幾年來Drew在LA一般，因為有這些明星球員在身邊，他就不會是
鎂光當以及質疑的焦點所在；但是當Doctor與Bobby Jones退休、Toney
與Moses離隊、Cheeks逐漸老化後，他成為了七六人的當家看板，一向
天不怕地不怕的Chuck對主持人承認這非常困難。

另外Chuck表示他非常期待七六人本季的比賽。

主持人還問了一個絕對是小白兔等級的問題：Is you the only
professional athlete who never been booed in Philadelphia?
*lol, 怎麼可能...

Chuck的回答也很有趣：Listen, let me tell you something: I have
been booed in the first half before, you know. That's the team
like you can take like if our team not playing better, they'll
boo u in the first quarter. (lol) ...I had booed in the first
quarter because you're not playing well.

總之這是他給Bynum善意的提醒，他希望Bynum對於這個城市的熱情提早
做好準備。

嚴格來說，雖然Chuck對Bynum持保留態度，不過他仍然是衷心期待這個
七六人能夠走向正軌並且繼續向上衝刺。

如果是Kenny Smith或者Sam Amico這樣的貨色講話，他們只是想酸，並
不是真的在分析問題；但是這是Barkley講的，就完全不一樣，你知道
他什麼時候在搞笑，什麼時候在認真，這次顯然是後者。而沒有任何人
比他更有資格講出希望Bynum一切準備好面對挑戰並武裝自己，而且必
須先證明自己才考慮合約，因為這裡是費城，而他已經證明過他有能力
征服費城的觀眾，以及在費城打球的巨大壓力。

即便你是J-Ro（Jimmy Rollins, 現在費城人的游擊手兼精神領袖），
當你打不好，觀眾還是會給你噓聲。Bynum要證明自己能夠成為一個領
袖，成為一個偉大的球員，這絕對是一個最好的舞台。

當你能將費城觀眾的噓聲換成喝采的時候，你就成功了，加油。
