With the Sixers having waived Brand via the amnesty provision
and traded Iguodala to the Nuggets in the deal that brought
center Andrew Bynum, they must rely on other players to fill
the void for the pair of former NBA all-stars.

在七六人不在有Andre Iguodala跟Elton Brand這兩個母雞帶著一堆小
朋友學著走路之後，他們必須找到其他人來填補這兩個全明星級球員
離隊所留下的領導能量真空。

Doug Collins said Thaddeus Young, Evan Turner, Jrue Holiday
and Spencer Hawes “are going to be critical in our locker
room early” in 2012-13. All four are in their third seasons
playing for Collins in Philadelphia.

Doug表示他希望Thad/Turner/Jrue/Hawes能夠挺身而出，在新的一個
球季主動接管球隊的休息室，因為這些人繼承了Doug兩年來的各種教誨

“I think every single day they can let everybody know, ‘This
is how we do things,’ ” Collins said. “We have to be a team
that talks more. I told them there’s not a team in any sport
that is any good that doesn’t communicate.”

Doug:

Turner is a third-year pro, while Holiday is in his fourth
season. Young and Hawes are sixth-year players.

Turner is 23, Holiday 22 and Young and Hawes just 24.

至於年紀？Turner邁入二十三歲、Jrue二十二、Thad跟耗子則是二十四。

“I’m not sure there’s going to be that one voice,” Collins
said. “I think it’s going to have to be collective.”

Doug:
我不希望休息室裡面變成一言堂，我希望所有人都能夠參與討論。

Each of the four guys Collins mentioned says he’s willing to
do whatever is needed and that the offseason changes are just
speeding up what would’ve been a natural progression.

四人幫都表示，只要球隊有需求，無論赴湯蹈火，他們都樂意領命；而
球隊陣容在暑假的劇變，則加速了這個進程。

“I think it’s time for some of us to step into those roles,”
 said Young, who is the longest-tenured current Sixer. “We’
re going to have to voice our opinions a little bit more and
let the guys know, ‘This is how we do things. This is how we’
re going to win games.’ ”

Thad: （留隊球員當中最資深者）
我認為這是我們當中的其中一些同伴必須站出來的時刻了，我們必須要
更加積極表達意見，釋放我們的聲音，並且確實的傳出一個堅定的訊息：
「這是我們的行事風格，必須這樣做，我們才能邁向勝利。」

Turner is transitioning from a second-year player trying to
find his niche/become a starter to a more prominent standing
on the roster.

在角色的轉換上，小壞蛋的反差更大，去年這個時候他必須為了他的先
發位置進行競爭與挑戰，但是現在他卻已經是陣容當中重要的關鍵拼圖。

“Once things get serious, somebody has to speak,” Turner
said. “It takes a big person to step in and put it in
perspective. (Holiday and I have) always been willing to help
out and be great teammates. People are looking for us more to
help them out, so that’s we’re doing.”

Turner:
有件事情相當重要，就是必需要有人出來引領談話；作為一個關鍵人物，
就必須要能夠挺身而出，並且將觀點與話題拋出。Jrue跟我一直都希望
能夠協助隊友變得更加出色，而現在大家都希望我們能夠挺身而出幫助
他們，而我們則當仁不讓。

During Tuesday night’s full-court drills, Turner told his
teammates that the power forward should inbound the ball after
the opposition scores. Collins, who calls Turner “Pistol,”
 immediately repeated what Turner had said.

在星期二的全場練習當中，Turner明確的指示大前鋒必須在對手得分後
將球從底線發入場中；而把小壞蛋叫做「手槍」(Pistol)的Doug，則立
刻對著場內吶喊，複誦Turner的指示。

As the starting point guard, Holiday is sort of the de facto
on-the-court leader. Collins has been pushing for Holiday, who
is not the most vocal guy on the court, to be more assertive.

而身為先發控球的Jrue，則毫無疑問是實際上的場上指揮官。Doug不斷
鼓勵以前鮮少在場上發號施令的Jrue，在場上必須更強勢、更積極。

“We have a lot of new faces,” Holiday said. “Since I’m one
of the four or five still here out of all of us, I have to
speak up.”

Jrue:
球隊當中有著很多新的面孔，身為少數四五位的留隊球員之一，我必須
更積極的在場上溝通協調，主導一切。

Hawes, who signed a two-year, $12 million contract with the
Sixers in July, is also willing to be more of a leader. He
believes having Holiday and Turner back as the team’s primary
ball-handlers should accelerate the process and make the
personnel overhaul easier to overcome.

而在今年夏天簽下兩年一千兩百萬新約的耗子，也被賦予了共同領袖的
重責大任。他相信在後場有著像是Jrue跟小壞蛋這樣的持球指揮官，將
協助球隊在重組整合的過程中，更順暢的克服一切困難。

“We’re comfortable with the guy with the ball in those guys’
 hands,” Hawes said. “Everyone else gets an idea how to play
off them.”

Hawes:
當他們持球的時候，大家都感到非常的順利，所有人都知道該如何配合
他們，並協助球隊變得更好。
