Andre Iguodala took off full-speed down the court,
chasing a lumbering Zydrunas Ilgauskas, who was headed toward
the basket on a breakaway, trying to help keep the Cleveland Cavaliers
in their game against the 76ers.

The 7-foot-3 Ilgauskas looked as if he had plenty of space,
but here came Iguodala, the athletic 6-foot-6 rookie,
flying toward him and getting a piece of what was supposed
to be an easy layup.

That majestic block was only a small part of what Iguodala
did defensively last night in helping carry the Sixers to
a vital 93-81 victory before a disappointed sellout
crowd of 20,562 at Gund Arena.

Iguodala and Aaron McKie combined to limit Cavs superstar LeBron James
to three baskets on 20 shots. James, who went in riding a streak of
three games of with 30-plus points, was held to 16.

But it was Iguodala's block, which came with the Sixers having rallied
from a slight deficit to take an 87-79 lead, that was the defining moment
of the game - and more, according to Sixers coach Jim O'Brien.

"That was one of the highlights of the season, frankly," O'Brien said.
"That was hustle. We try to tell our guys to chase everything down, and
that was a terrific play and a terrific non-call by the official."

今晚Iguodala跟Mckie聯手對付近三場平均30分以上，
熱的發燙的超級明星LeBron James,
並且讓他僅在20次的出手中命中3球，僅得16分。

除此之外，是Iguodala的那記火鍋振作了七六人的士氣，並且從79-77的落後，
一口氣超前為87-79，決定了這場比賽的勝負。

教練歐比王說：
"坦白說，這真是這個球季中最精彩的一次表現。"
"我們試著讓場上的球員追趕著負責防守的對手，而不管是防守或是沒被判犯規這點

Iguodala, who helped hold the Lakers' Kobe Bryant to 20 points Tuesday
night, finished with three of the Sixers' season-high 13 blocked shots.
He also came up with a pair of steals, one on the Cleveland possession
that followed his block of Ilgauskas' layup try.

"I was trying not to foul him, just trying to get my hand on the ball,"
Iguodala said. "He slowed down, and I just happened to catch up with him.
He went up with the right hand, and I got a hold of it."

Iguodala除了在前一場對湖人的比賽僅讓Kobe拿下20分外，
今晚優異的表現也讓七六人最後轟下了本季新高的單場13次火鍋(呃，那Rogers呢?)
而Iguodala也附帶了兩記抄截，
其中一次還是在他轟下了Ilgauskas的上籃之後。

「我試著不要去對他犯規，讓我的手能夠準確的打到球。」小AI說著。
「我發現大Z腳步慢下來，讓我剛好能夠趕上他；他把球換到右手，
  於是我就能夠充分掌握球的去向。」

"That's what he's about," Iverson said. "Aaron always has been a stopper for
us. But [Iguodala] is young. He's long. He's athletic. He reminds me a lot
of [McKie] years ago. He uses his hands a lot to make things happen. I told
him today he can be the best stopper in the game."

「以往扮演Stopper的角色的總是McKie，
  但小AI還年輕、他還有很長的時間可以學習，而且還有著勁爆的體能。
  他今晚的表現讓我想起好幾年前的McKie (譯按：怎麼有點感傷..@@)
  McKie總是用他的雙手讓一些神奇的事發生，
  而我今晚也告訴小AI，他是有能力在比賽裡扮演最佳Stopper的角色的。」
