the team potentially loses out on a high pick and further
angers an already iritated fanbase.  If he loses, said
fanbase would prefer to see him replaced with Larry Brown.

It’s the same position that Stan Van Gundy was in with
the Heat prior to getting replaced by Pat Riley.  In Van
Gundy’s case, he was actually winning and contending for
the conference title!
