76ers' Korver to sit out tonight's game against Hawks

PHILADELPHIA — Kyle Korver will sit out the 76ers game tonight against the
Atlanta Hawks with a sprained right wrist, he said before the game.
Korver said the injury has been bothering him for more than a week. He said he
hopes to return in time for the Sixers’ next game on Tuesday against Indiana.
Korver will miss his third game of the season. He missed two games in early
December with a sprained ankle. The first game stopped a streak where he had
played in 205 consecutive games, dating back to Feb. 19, 2004, his rookie
season.
Korver is second on the team in scoring, averaging 14.4 points per game. He
leads the NBA in free throw shooting at 91.3 percent.
