Andrew Bogut #6 Bucks
Sidney Moncrief is the third leading scorer and ranks second all-time in games
played in Bucks history. He also wore jersey No. 4 in each of the 695 games he
played for the Bucks – the same uniform number that 2006 first overall pick
Andrew Bogut wore in college. Since Moncrief’s number was retired to the
Bradley Center rafters on January 6, 1990, Bogut needed to pick a new jersey
number.
Sidney Moncrief 是公鹿隊史上平均得分排名第三總得分排第二的得分手。他穿著4號戰

“[Jersey No.6] was a jersey thrown to me as a kid,” said Bogut. “I was the
last guy to show up basically and they threw me No. 6.

basketball. So I thought, ‘Why not go back to my roots?’ I actually have

Kobe Bryant’s famous number 8 jersey has long been one of the NBA’s top
selling jerseys over the years, but Bryant has not always worn the number.

小到大都穿這個號碼。
“In high school I started out with number 24. Then I went to number 33 later
on. 33 was the number my father wore in high school, so I just switched it to
carry on the lineage.”

When Bryant jumped from Lower Merion High School to the professional ranks
joining the Lakers, Bryant did not even have the opportunity to select number
33. That number was already previously retired after being worn by Kareem
Abdul-Jabbar.

Kobe chose the number 8 because his uniform number as a high schooler at the
ADIDAS ABCD Camp was 143 (1+4+3=8), but the number switch was easy. “I wore
the number 8 when I was a kid playing in the Italian leagues, so it was a
smooth transition from number 33.”
最後 Kobe 選了8號，因為他在 ADIDAS 舉辦的 ABCD Camp 裡的號碼是143，他把數字拆
開相加就成了8 (1+4+3=8)。「我在義大利聯盟打球時還是個孩子，那時候我穿8號，所以
從33號改為8號對我來說沒什麼好不習慣的。」
