PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 25 (Ticker) -- Allen Iverson provided all the energy the
shorthanded Philadelphia 76ers needed to improve their position in the
Eastern Conference.

Iverson scored 14 of his 38 points in the final quarter and Andre Iguodala
added 20 as the 76ers posted a 108-102 victory over the Chicago Bulls.

Philadelphia was without starting forward Chris Webber (flu) and NBA blocked
shots leader Samuel Dalembert (ankle) as it faced a team it is competing with

After winning in Milwaukee on Friday, the Sixers (28-27) gained a measure of
revenge against the Bulls, who handed Philadelphia its worst loss of the
season just before the All-Star break, to remain one-half game ahead of the
Bucks for seventh place in the East.

anything but tired after a relatively quiet third period. Philadelphia made
six baskets over the final 12 minutes - all by Iverson.

Malik Allen just over a minute later.

Iguodala then swiped the ball from Allen with 32 seconds remaining and
combined with Korver to hit eight free throws down the stretch to seal it.
