還有 Shawn Bradley      7呎6的身高並沒有給他帶來多大的優勢
                        雖然靈活但身形過於單薄
                        而且不到五成的命中率對於一個中鋒來講是非常不及格的。

be found late in the first round and deep into the second round.
You select a kid and hope he develops with your organization.

儘管如此，我們還是得繼續選下去。NBA選秀並不是一個用計算就能算出來的東西。
就算在第一輪後段或是第二輪也還是能找到很棒的潛力球員。

Look at the 76ers. There’s Jrue Holiday, Thaddeus Young, Lou Williams, Evan
Turner, etc. All were picked by the Sixers and all have tremendous upside.


看看整個76人，Jrue Holiday   開季到現在場均14.6分 4.8助攻 命中率46%
                         (覺得他助攻被一堆人分掉...不只IGGY現在還有Turner...)
              Thaddeus Young 場均12.3分 5.1籃板 命中率52%
              Lou Williams   場均15分， 雖然昨天只得兩分，他也說B2B2B真的超累XD
              Evan Turner    場均10.6分 得分防守籃板命中率都優於去年很多

這些全都是76人親自選的，而這些球員都有很巨大的轉變。

除了剛剛講的那幾個，別忘了Nikola Vucevic也應該要在名單內。

Before the NBA lockout took effect, the Sixers took the 7-foot, 260-pound
Vucevic from USC with the 16th overall selection in the first round. Vucevic
played three seasons at USC and won over the Sixers’ brain trust with his
skills on the court and interview off the court.

在封館之前，76人以16順位選了一個來是USE的260磅7呎長人Vucevic。
Vucevic 在USE打了三年，他場上的表現及之後的面試贏得了76人對他的信任。

Through the first 10 games, Vucevic has become a fan favorite at Wells Fargo
Center with his smooth jumper and deft moves in the low post.
He can play and the fans picked up on that fact immediately.

“I fell in love with him the first time I saw the kid,” Sixers coach Doug
Collins said. “He’s really ball-friendly. He knows how to play, and the guys
on the team like him and trust him. The coaches like him and trust him. That’s
why (president) Rod Thorn and I were praying on draft night that that guy was
going to be there for us.”

beyond the arc. It’s no surprise to the Sixers.

“The first day in camp, Nik was knocking down shots with regularity,” said
forward Elton Brand. “We knew he could play. I think the sky’s the limit for
the kid. He has confidence and we have confidence in him.”

When you’re drafted, there’s no guarantee what type of situation you’ll
face. You could be headed to a poor team like the Kings, Nets or Wizards.

Vucevic was fortunate enough to come to the rising Sixers, who are winning
games and moving in the right direction. Then they traded forward Marreese
Speights, opening up more opportunities for Vucevic.

對於 Nik 來說他已經很幸運了，來到正在向上竄升的76人。
接著76人把Sp8交易出去，這也使 Nik 的上場機會大增。

“After I was drafted, coach Collins and I talked about what my role would be,”
 Vucevic said. “He told me to be ready to play and that you never know in this
league. He told me all the things he loved about my game and what he expected
from me. I knew I had to be ready, and if I was, good things could happen.
“Then I find out we traded Marreese and suddenly my minutes increase. It’s
been great. I’m trying to fit into the team scheme. The coaches have been
great in guiding me along. I feel very, very confident when they call my name.”


NiK : 在我被選上之後，Doug Collins 告訴我該如何扮演好我的角色。
      他叫我做好上場的準備，並且告訴我ㄧ些聯盟中我還不知道的事情。
      他說他很喜歡我球場上的表現，並且跟我說他對我的期許。
      我知道我必須準備好上場，一但我準備好了，我就會有好表現!
      接著我們交易了SP8，我的上場時間也立刻增加了許多，感覺很好。
      我正在嘗試融入整個團隊體系，Doug 也都在旁指導我。
      當他叫我上場時，我充滿信心!!

How about the fans’ reaction? "Incredible feeling" Vucevic said.

那粉絲的反應如何? Nik : 感覺不可思議!

Before going to USC, Vucevic pondered his options about playing in Europe. He
ultimately chose the college route which led him to the Sixers.

在進入USC南加大之前，Nik 曾考慮過在歐洲打球。
最後他還是選擇了USC並且來到了76人這裡。

“I think it was the right way to go,” Vucevic said. “I didn’t want to turn
pro at 18 and play right away in Europe. I knew I had to get better and going
to USC was the proper way to do that. It helped me improve my game to where I
needed to be. I’m very happy with where I am now.”

Nik : 我認為我的選擇是對的，我不想再18歲就馬上進入職業籃球在歐洲。
      他知道我可以在USC得到更好的成長，這也使我更進步。
      我很高興來到這裡。
