Sixers slighted by refs vs. champion Spurs

Getting jobbed by the refs is subjective.
裁判的吹判是很主觀的。
Twenty-six free throws compared to 11 isn’t.
26次和11次的罰球說明了一切。
The Sixers were fuming Wednesday night after their 100-90 loss to the Spurs
at the Wells Fargo because of the free-throw disparity, in particular in the
second half, when the Spurs took 15 free throws and the Sixers just two.
星期三晚上以100-90輸給馬刺的主場比賽中，七六人因為裁判的不公而憤怒。
兩隊得到的罰球次數有顯著的差別，

“Big disparity,” Sixers coach Doug Collins said, declining to comment
further.

It was only the 15th time in the last 25 years the Sixers have attempted 15
fewer foul shots than an opponent in a game played at the Wells Fargo Center
or the Spectrum.

It was also the first time in 16 years the Sixers have attempted as few as 11
free throws in a home game while their opponent took as many as 26. On Jan.

The feeling in the Sixers’ locker room was that a team like the Spurs, with
four NBA championships since 1999 and a Hall of Famer in Tim Duncan, will
simply get calls that a young, unproven team like the Sixers won’t get.

The Sixers lost for only the seventh time this season despite outscoring the
Spurs from the field, 83-79. The Spurs outscored the Sixers at the foul line
21-7.

It was the first time since 2010 that the Sixers attempted 15 fewer free
throws than an opponent in their own gym. On Nov. 5, 2010, they lost 123-116
to the Cavaliers, who took 48 foul shots to their 25.

“We were making aggressive plays to the rim and fouls here and there that we
felt we weren’t getting,” said Lou Williams, who led the Sixers with 22

“It’s rumored that it happens,” he said smiling. “I don’t know.”

In the third quarter Wednesday, when the Spurs turned a one-point deficit
into an eight-point lead, the Sixers were called for eight personal fouls and
the Spurs just two. The Spurs made eight of 10 free throws, and the Sixers
never went to the line.
這場比賽的第三節，馬刺從落後一分到領先八分的過程中，
七六人被吹了八次個人犯規而馬刺只被吹兩次，

In fact, the Sixers went more than 19 minutes at one point without attempting
a foul shot. Iguodala shot two with 34 seconds left in the second quarter,
and the next 76er free throw came with just 5:10 left in the game, when Jrue
Holiday went to the line.
事實上七六人有十九分鐘的時間沒有得到任何一個罰球機會，
卻還能將比賽保持在一分差以內。
Iggy在第二節終了前34秒得到兩罰的機會，

Overall, the Spurs were called for just seven personal fouls in the final 27
minutes of the game.

Collins, asked to comment about the officiating after noting the “big
disparity,” declined.
Collins 被問到關於那句「差很大」是什麼意思。
“I’m going to leave that alone,” Collins said. “Unless you want to talk
to my wife about a fine.”
