But Redick hopes to stay on as Sixer beyond one year, he told Jessica
Camerato of CSNPhilly.com.

“My hope is that this is a long-term thing and that I’m here three or four
years and can finish my career as a Sixer,” Redick said Saturday….

“I hate being a free agent, I’ll be honest with you,” Redick said. “It’s
not a fun process for me. I’ve done it three times and each time it’s been
absolutely miserable until the outcome.”

“I really believe this is a team that over the next three or four years will
become the best team in the East,” Redick said. “I hope I’m sort of part
of that rise just beyond this year because I think we can be a playoff team
and I think in the next two or three years we can contend for conference
championships and hopefully at some point NBA championships.”

JJ:
我希望我在費城能夠呆得長久，大概三年到四年，
而且我希望能夠以七六人的身份結束我的生涯。

我很痛恨成為自由球員這件事情，說老實話。
這並不是一個有趣的「過程」。
我生涯中進入過三次自由市場，而每次生活都因此搞得一團亂直到塵埃落定。

我真的相信我們可以在三到四年之內成為東區最好的球隊。
我真心期待成為球隊上升關鍵時期的重要力量，
因為我相信我們可以進入季後賽，而且兩到三年內能夠成為冠軍競爭者。
