International Symposium on Grid Computing 2009
21 – 23 April 2009,中央研究院人文社會科學館國際會議廳
中央研究院網格計算團隊（Academia Sinica Grid Computing, ASGC）
擬於2009年4月21日至23日
假中央研究院人文社會科學館國際會議廳舉辦
「International Symposium on Grid Computing（ISGC）2009」國際研討會。
秉持促進亞洲與全球學術交流並擴展國際合作之宗旨
ISGC每年邀集享譽國際、經驗豐富之網格計畫團隊與學者專家來台
與國內外各界先進互動探討
共創合作空間，更進一步奠定台灣網格計算在國際舞台的地位。
本次研討會除了介紹全球知名網格計畫
（如歐洲WLCG/EGEE、美國OSG、日本 NAREGI、歐亞合作 EUAsiaGrid）
之維運及各計畫間的合作之外，並自4月16日至20日間
提供有關Asia @home
(Volunteer Computing) Workshop、 iRODS Workshop、 Grid Tutorial
和網格安全機制技術訓練等研習課程。
2009年ISGC研討會，特別邀請三位國外知名學者進行專題演講(如下所示)，
並藉由國內外50餘位知名專家學者的參與，於會中發表演說與經驗交流。
‧Ruben S. Montero (Associate Professor at UCM, Spain)
on OpenNebula,Open-source virtualisation systems.
‧David Anderson (Research Scientist at UC Berkeley Space Sciences Laboratory)
on Volunteer Computing.
‧Tim Cornwell(Leader of ASKAP Computing, Australia National Telescope
Facility)
on Square Kilometre Array.
而本次大會除了著重於探討亞洲地區網格計算之維運及發展之外，涵蓋議題更包括：

藉由實際參與WLCG全球網格系統建置與EGEE及EUAsiaGrid之國際合作研究計畫
ASGC與世界各國網格中心共同整合全球網格資源與服務
建立並促進亞太地區參與單位溝通協調與合作的機制。
我們期待能在本次研討會與產學界共同分享經驗成果並提供相互交流的機會。
